“You’re gonna go to Hell!” someone shouts at one of the members of the Satanic Temple during the opening of the Hail Satan trailer.

"I believe it, and I'm very excited about it,” he says.

Directed by Penny Lane, Hail Satan follows members of the Satanic Temple as they kick ass and work to spread the message of the newly founded religion. As they explain, the Satanic Temple aims to confront injustice by pushing against the government’s relationship to religious expression (specifically Christianity).

"Satanism is looking out for the other, because we are the other,” one member says.

The Satanic Temple was founded in 2012, and has grown to over 100,000 members around the world in a short five years. The church has been getting a lot of shine lately, from their fights against the new reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch to the Westboro Baptist Church.

Hail Satan premiered last year at Sundance Film Festival and will expand to select theaters on April 19th.
