Miley Cyrus appears as Drag King in Drag Race season 11 premiere
Drag Race is finally getting some drag king representation… but it’s not what you think.
Queer pop star Miley Cyrus is making her second appearance as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race this Thursday night for the season 11 premiere. To mark the occasion, she decided to pull a Hannah Montana on their asses and go undercover as drag king alter-ego, Barry B.J. Johnson.
Cyrus shared a preview clip on her Instagram, which shows her sneaking up behind Miss Vanjie and checking out the new batch of queens & their dead petz behind the makeup mirror. He’s just being Barry.
Lena Waithe, Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard, Wanda Sykes, and Rachel Maddow will also appear as guest judges this season. Season 11 of Drag Race premieres Thursday night on VH1 at 9pm EST.
