Miami + drag + arepas = a very happy Akrum.

Wigwood was an absolute dream.

I ate great food (Milly’s Empanada Factory and Pizza Tropical) and saw some killer drag—some highlights being King Femme, Vex the Thing, Sensitive Black Hottie, and omg Milk! I was back in my ol’ stomping grounds, flouncing around Miami with my fav queers and queens.

The yacht show was something I’ll never forget—with Karla Croqueta singing “My Heart Will Go On”, Gami and Keanu, and Get Face on the 1’s and 2’s, and Mthrtrsa finishing out the show with the best rendition of “I’m Every Woman” a woman ever saw.

Wigwood day two @ Gramps was a blast. There were plenty of shows, endless empanadas & garlic knots, and over fifty performances (none were boring—how does that happen?) !
